A memorial service for John Woodford Abrams Jr., 72, of Birmingham, Alabama, was held November28 at Dogwood Chapel in Aliceville, Alabama. Mr. Abrams passed away November 26.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Kirksey Abrams, father John W. Abrams, Sr., and his cousin Edward McPherson Alston.
Survivors include his sons, John J. Abrams and Archie Abrams; sister, Robbie Abrams Davis; brother-in-law, Charles Davis; numerous grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
John was a retired farmer, teacher, Principal at Linden High School and a loving grandfather.
Pallbearers were Broughton W. Rogers, Bob Davis, Ted Alston, Tommy Snoddy and Everett Owens.
