Mr. Michael Joseph Callicott, 63, of Chicora, Mississippi passed from this life Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Mr. Callicot was born in Demopolis to Joseph Andrew Callicott and Pauline Kathrine Benton Callicott. He worked as a computer technician.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Andrew Callicott and mother, Pauline Kathrine Callicott.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Callicott of Chicora; daughters, Bridgett O’Bryant of Hattiesburg, Regan Callicott McConnell of Theodore, Alabama, and Maggie Walters (Daniel) of Clara; brothers, Steve Callicott of Pensacola, Florida, and Donald Callicott of Demopolis; and his grandchildren, Avery Cathryn McConnell and Charleigh Elizabeth Walters.

Visitation for Mr. Callicott was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, Mississippi. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Spell officiating. Interment will be in Chicora-Davis Cemetery.
