Charles Peollnitz Parr, 91, of Demopolis, died September 12, 2017.

Charles was born September 26, 1926 in Newbern, Alabama to the late John Walter and Estelle Howard Parr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walter and Estelle Howard Parr; brothers, Howard Parr, Ervin Parr, and Willie Booth Parr; sisters, Louise Payne, Josephine Dunkin, and Estelle Eubank.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Brenda Morgan Parr; brothers, Jack Parr and Patrick Parr; sister, Minnie Wilma Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Thursday, September 14, at 2 p.m., at Memorial Gardens in Demopolis with Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes directing.
