Jesse Lee Etheredge Jr., 58, of Linden died Oct. 4, 2017 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Etheredge was born June 24, 1959 in Demopolis to Jesse Lee and Eva Etheredge. He was a former lineman with Alabama Power and Pike Power and a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Taft of Linden; daughter, Jessica Etheredge Wingate of Linden; three step-children, Brandy Taft of Demopolis, Neal Taft of Demopolis, and Julia Lyons of Boligee,; two sisters, Patsy Etheredge Cullum and Peggy Etheredge Averette, both of Linden; one grandchild, Sophia Leigh Wingate; and four step-grandchildren, Christian Todd, Billy Taft, Trinity Taft, and Cameron Robertson.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. Burial was in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallion.

Active Pallbearers were: Nicholas Averette, Nathan Averette, Jeremy Averette, Jesse Averette, Neal Taft, and Chris Cullum.

Honorary Pallbearers were: The MICU Nursing Staff at DCH Regional Medical Center.
