Robert Michael Thomas, 64, of Coatopa, Alabama passed away Feb. 9, 2018 at DCH Medical Center.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bobby) Thomas; paternal grandmother, Katherine Thomas; and maternal grandmother, Zelma Ward.

He is survived by his mother, Katie Thomas; one daughter, Natalie (Tommy Thrash) Thomas; one son, Michael (Carol) Thomas; one brother, Wayne (Serita) Thomas; six grandchildren, Clayton Short, William McCrory, Sailor Grace McCrory, Landon Thomas, Callie Rae Thomas, Dalton Holtzclaw; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and special friends, Jean Evans, Steve Evans; and Sandy Baker’s special pet, Gertie.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. A visitation service will be held an hour prior to the service.
