Irma Pitts Parr, 92, of Demopolis passed away on Feb. 12, 2018, at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Demopolis.

Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m., from First Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

She was born August 30, 1925, in Perry County to the late Albert and Minnie Maude Lester Pitts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Parr; sisters, Minnie Hall, Ruby Gossett Hickey and Annie Hawkins; and two brothers, Higley Pitts and Albert Pitts.

Irma is survived by her daughter, Mary Anna Parr; son; Howard Higley Parr (Paula); grandchildren, Jim Parr (Amy) and Joe Parr (Mary Ruth); and great-grandchildren, Anna Grace, Emma Kate and Shep Parr.

Pallbearers will be Jim Parr, Joe Parr, Jim Pitts, Rencher Hall, Bob Hall and Henry Gossett.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Walter H. Parr Scholarship care of Pilot Club P.O. Box 576, Demopolis, AL.
