Joanne S. Flowers, 83, of Demopolis passed away Feb. 20, 2018, at Sonrise Assisted Living.

Joanne was born August 5, 1934, in Tuskegee to the late John Nicholas and Minnie Lou Stringer Sullivan.

She is survived by her sons, Tim Henderson and Wes Henderson (Janet); grandchildren, John Wesley Henderson Jr., Rebecca H. Paulk, Taylor Brooke Henderson and Timothy Grant Henderson.

Funderal services will be held Friday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m., from Kirk Funeral Home Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Morgan, Tim Brister, Paul “Sonny” James III, Raymond Low, Rodney Allen, and Kelley Etheridge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sonrise Assisted Living, Dr. Ketcham and Dismukes staff and the Hugh Lloyd Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be to First Baptist Church of Demopolis.
