The Marengo County History & Families: Bicentennial Edition book is nearing the final stages of preparation with delivery later this year.

As a limited edition print, orders are currently being taken with the Marengo County Historical and Archives Museum; each book is $54.95 for standard cover edition, with up-charge options available for a beautiful leather cover or embossing.

As a comprehensive historical book for Marengo County families, communities, churches, schools, businesses, and organizations, the book committee highly encourages you to purchase books for relatives, loved ones, etc.

“If you’re a parent or grandparent, this book is a perfect way to help your children and grandchildren appreciate their genealogy, along with a more in-depth knowledge of the county you and they grew up in,” said Mary Jones-Fitts, book committee chairman. “We really recommend you purchase a copy for yourself and also for those in younger generations. It’s a gift that will last a lifetime.”

Books can be purchased via order form at the Marengo County Historical and Archives Museum at 101 N.
