Linda Carol Temple was called home by the Lord after a courageous battle with a long illness.

Mrs. Temple was born June 16, 1949, to Percy Lamar and Mergie Harrison Glass. She departed on Nov. 20, 2018 at the age of 69 from Marengo Nursing Home.  She will be eternally cherished for her unwavering adoration of her family, dedication to her church, community and helping the impoverished. A Memorial service will be held Nov. 28, at 2 p.m., at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Stevens and Rev. Randall Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

She will always be loved by her husband of 46 years, Terry Temple; son, Tannon Temple (Amanda) of California; grandsons, Tobin, Everett and Paxton Temple; sisters, Gloria Germany and Dorthy Quarles (Terry); neice, Jennifer Shipley (Craig); nephew, Taylor Quarles; and great-nephew, Jackson Connell.
