Betty Greene Allen, 80, of Demopolis died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019.
Mrs. Allen was born in Forkland on Feb. 28, 1938, to the late Ralph and Bernice Greene.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Gene Tillman Greene and Johnny Gordon Greene.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rodney Clark Allen, and her three daughters, Liz Donaldson (Mark) of Fultondale, Alabama, Wendy Dement (Leland) of Gardendale, Alabama, and Amy Allen of Woodstock, Georgia.
Betty “MeMe” had six grandchildren: Matt Donaldson (Linley), Kaleb Donaldson, Blake Donaldson (Keeley), Jamie Powell (Chris), Misty Williams, and Ashleigh Williams (Tyeler). She also had four great-grandchildren: Noah Powell, Emmette Ford, Addyson Martin, and Genesis Williams.
Mrs. Allen was a loving wife and mother and she loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved playing dominoes and cards with friends and family. She also enjoyed going to the annual beach trip to spend time together as a family.
The pallbearers are Mark Donaldson, Leland Dement, Matt Donaldson, Kaleb Donaldson, Blake Donaldson, and Shawn Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The First United Methodist Church of Demopolis.
