Catherine Hitt Robertson passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 at her home in Demopolis.

Catherine was born Nov. 20, 1952 in Demopolis to Arthur Lee and Susie Cornish Howell Hitt.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Charles W. “Bill” Robertson; a daughter, Jennifer Catherine Robertson of York; two sons, Lee Robertson of Demopolis and Brandon (Rita) Robertson of Daphne, Alabama; her father, Arthur Lee (Joyce) Hitt; sisters, Lois (Steve) Henderson, Susie (Mike) Bell, Jeanne Glass, Frances (Greg) Webb, all of Demopolis, and Beth (Paul) Yates of Linden; grandchildren, Hunter Stewart, Hannah Stewart, Cameron Johnson, Dalton Robertson, Elizabeth Robertson, and Anthony Robertson; nieces, Susanne Bell Smith, Adele Patterson Malone, Mary Frances Webb; nephews, Rodney Bell, Alex Glass, Austin Glass, Will Webb, Will Paul Yates; great-nieces, Anna Braswell Malone, Susanna Bell, Hadley Bell Smith; and great-nephews, Jay Bell, Cameron Bell, Trey Malone, and Parker Smith.

Pallbearers were: Jay Bell, Rodney Bell, Alex Glass, Austin Glass, Trey Malone, and Will Webb.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m., at Demopolis First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Ethridge officiating. Interment followed at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
