A two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 4:50 p.m., claimed the life of a Catopa woman.

Emma Gleen Taylor, 64, was killed when the 2016 Honda CRV she was driving collided head-on with a 2007 Mack driven by Donald Ladale Roberts, 52, of Louisville, Mississippi.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 17 near the 157 mile marker, approximately one mile south of Emele city limits.

Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
