Charlie V. Martin, 82, of Demopolis, Alabama, died on March 19, 2020 at Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis.

Charlie was born in Pike Road, Alabama to V C and Odessa Martin. He married Mary Jo Purvis on July 18, 1962. He was a rancher and a life long member of the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, VC & Odessa Martin; a brother, Bobby Martin; and  a sister, Katrina Grogan. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Jo Martin; two sons, Ed Martin (Gina), Alan Martin (Deb);  a daughter, Michelle Graham (Tommy); six grandchildren, Chance Martin, Cheyenne Martin,  Lance Ellis, Fallon Martin,  Trey Graham and Carnley Graham.

Charlie was laid to rest on Sunday, March 22 , in Memorial Gardens, Demopolis. Services were officiated by Rev. Larry Anderson and Rev. Richard Scott.
