A Tennessee man was killed Monday as the result of a vehicle accident in Greene County.

Gary Roberts, 53, of Brentwood, Tennessee was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Roberts was driving a 2020 Land Rover Discovery when he struck a 2019 International Tractor Trailer. ALEA reports that Roberts was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash occurred at 9:10 p.m. on I-59 near the 50-mile marker, about 10 miles north of Eutaw. ALEA said the State Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
