Whitfield administers first COVID-19 vaccinations to employees

Whitfield Regional Hospital received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine today and began vaccinating its employees.

According to CEO Doug Brewer, thirty-five front line employees received the vaccination today, and more will follow in the coming days. Front line employees treat the hospital’s COVID-19 patients. Beginning next week, the hospital will administer the vaccine to local first responders, EMS workers, and physician offices in the area.
