The Social Butterfly Marketplace has been named the January Business of the Month by the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce. It is located at 103 W Washington St.
At the Social Butterfly, vendors sell antiques, artwork, goods, market finds, skin care products, repurposed items, handbags, shoes, hats, ties, jewelry, paintings, specialty woods, locally-made baked goods, honey, soap, syrup. It is a warm, friendly and comfortable place that offers twenty-five affordable booths where vendors can sell their goods and/or services under one roof.
Booths are available for rent for anyone interested in establishing themselves in the Demopolis area. Rent prices range from $50-$160 per month. In addition to renting booths, locals can rent out the meeting room for any occasion such as birthdays, baby showers, workshops, or formal dinners. The meeting room is equipped with WiFi, a coffee bar, TV/Monitor, and restrooms. The space can be rented Monday-Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for a $125 rental fee.
The Social Butterfly Marketplace is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, but is open Wednesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Social Butterfly can be reached at 334-216-5649.
