As of Tuesday, March 29th, the current Emergency Department entrance at Whitfield Memorial hospital is closed for construction. All Emergency Department access has been moved to the Outpatient middle entrance (entrance west of main entrance) of the hospital. This includes both ambulance access, as well as walk-in patients.

There will be no access to emergency services at the back of hospital. This will be in place for eight months to one year for renovations to complete. These improvements to the hospital will allow improvements to patient care, better patient safety, and enhance clinical quality.
