William Johnston “Bo” McAlpine age 71 of Demopolis, AL died April 10, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was born November 25, 1950 in Demopolis, AL to Robert Johnston and Dora Helena McAlpine. He was a former Marengo County Revenue Commissioner and a member of First Baptist Church Demopolis.

He is survived by his wife, Micki McAlpine; son, Doug McAlpine; daughter, Trena McAlpine Reynolds (Jay); two brothers, Robert “Shot” McAlpine (Betty) and Mike McAlpine (Anna); three grandchildren, Webb Reynolds, Helen Reynolds, and McAlpine “Mac” Reynolds.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Demopolis on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Robert McAlpine, Scott Tucker, John McAlpine, Jim McAlpine, Kenny Freeman, and Rusty Nichols.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hall, Mickey Sandford, Mark Homan, Jimmy Edmonds, Jimmy Ross, Bobby Franks, Jim Bo Ward, Jimmy Patterson, Tommy Pruitt and Bony Barrineau.
