Six miles of resurfacing planned for Hwy. 10

Later this year, the Alabama Department of Transportation will repave an estimated six miles of Highway 10 from Sweet Water to Dixons Mills. The project includes micro-milling, resurfacing (scrub seal), and traffic striping.

According to ALDOT, resurfacing will take place on SR-10 from the intersection of 3rd Street in Sweet Water to the intersection of SR-13 (US-43) in Dixons Mills. The full length of work will be 5.728 mi.

The Bracket Estimate on this project is from $1,767,815 to $2,160,663. A Bidding Proposal may be purchased for $5.00. Plans may be purchased for $7.00 per set.
