Two Marengo County teams are in the Alabama Sports Writers Association preseason high school football poll released on August 7.
Sweet Water is ranked fourth in Class 1A. Demopolis is ranked 10th among Class 5A schools.
The preseason Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings with first-place votes, last year’s win-loss record and total poll points:
