Morton broke the program record for double-doubles (28), rebounds in a season (302) and free throws made in a season (129). In her collegiate career, she ranks in the top 10 in points (1,215), points per game (14.0), rebounds (740), rebounds per game (8.5), blocks (98), field goals made (465), field goal percentage (.527) and free throws made (285). She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Coaching career
Morton started her coaching career at her alma mater. She also coached an assistant at Georgia State, Mercer, Wagner, LSU and Montevallo. She spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach at Rice, where she was a part of the top recruiting class in Conference USA.
Morton then went to Wisconsin where she served as an assistant women’s basketball coach. In April, she was named the 12th head coach of the UWA women’s basketball program. She begins her first year in a few weeks.
