Marengo County Sheriff Alston paid a visit last week to a Black Belt Community Foundation Head Start class in Linden to celebrate “Dr. Seuss Day” as part of Read Across America. The Sheriff spent time reading to the students at Head Start’s George P. Austin school location. The event was part of a full week of reading focused activities for the children.
