Ann Marie Lindbergh Ketcham, 86, of Demopolis, Alabama, died at home on Friday, April 4, 2025. A memorial service will take place on Monday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis. Visitation is at 1 p.m. just prior to the service.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the only daughter of Robert Edward Lindbergh and Ada Vesta Rawls Lindbergh. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School in Birmingham and received her degrees in biology and nursing at University of West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama and BSN at Southern Mississippi University. She received a graduate degree in nursing from Auburn University of Montgomery. After receiving her degrees, she worked as a professor of nursing at the University of West Alabama until 2012 and later received her Emeritus Professor award in 2013.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Demopolis for nearly 65 years. She enjoyed educating many of the fine nurses in the State of Alabama. Her greatest love was enjoying her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Denise Ketcham Driscoll (Timothy), Lori Michele Ketcham Giles (Albert), and Melissa Ann Ketcham Beach (Todd); grandchildren, Meredith Lindbergh Giles Waldrop (Norman), Albert Fletcher Giles, III (Blakeslee), Andrew Tyler Watts (Gabriele), Neil Edward Driscoll (Samantha Jo), Spencer Ketcham Turnbull (Ashley), Margaret Reeve Turnbull, Ann Lilburn Turnbull; and great grandchildren, Norman Erskine Waldrop, IV, Robert Lindbergh Waldrop, Albert Fletcher Giles, IV, Hardy Thompson Giles, Carmella Denise Watts, Riva Ann Watts, and River Banks Tumbull.
She was preceded by her husband, Paul Franklin Ketcham, MD.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Chancel Choir.
