Robert Hall “Bobby” Davis, Jr. age 73 of Demopolis, AL died April 3, 2025 at his home. He was born February 26, 1952 in Selma, AL to Robert Hall Davis, Sr. and Mary Catherine Cook Davis. He was a retired ENI technician with Georgia Pacific and a member of Linden Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Payne Davis; son, Rob Davis (Shoshana); daughter, Ashley Davis Petrey (Chris); brothers, Danny Davis (Jackie) and Carl Davis (Judy); seven grandchildren, Bailey Petrey Ray (Hunter), Macey Petrey, Davis Petrey, Camdon Davis, Bayne Petrey, T.J. Reeves, and Nix Davis; one great grandchild, Noah Vivian Ray; and special nieces and nephews, C.J. Davis, Daniel Davis, Hannah Jones, Brooke Turberville, Christy Megginson, and Amber Kelsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hall Davis, Sr. and Mary Catherine Cook Davis; and brother, Walter Davis.
Visitation will be held at Linden Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 8, from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 pm service time with Rev. Dale Glover and Tony Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Hunter Ray, Davis Petrey, Camdon Davis, Bayne Petrey, Danny Baker, and Dwight Charley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marengo County Softball Officials Association, West Central Volleyball Officials Association, Dr. Ronnie Chu, Dr. Ferrell Mendelsohn, Dr. Chandra, Aveanna Hospice, Global Eye Openers AA Association, and Buster Ward.
