The Sweet Water Lady Bulldogs softball team got a big win over Holy Spirit 17-2 on Thursday.

Sweet Water pounded out 12 hits in the win. They were led by Addison Griffith who was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Raegan Averette was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and four runs scored.

Marley Miller added a triple and a double with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Maylie Broussard and Whitney Harrington while Jamirah Lucy, Reese Ashcraft and A Copeland had one hit each.

Harrington finished the game with two and two thirds innings of scoreless softball with two strikeouts. Ashcraft started the game allowed only two runs on two hits and two walks.They were scheduled to play at Southern Choctaw on Tuesday followed by a return trip to Excel on Monday. They will host Marengo on Tuesday. At 4:30 p.m.
