Funeral Services for Susie Mae Ford Webb, 97, of Gallion will be held Wednesday, May 7, at 2:00 P.M. from Providence Baptist Church with Paul Whitcomb and Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Susie Webb passed away on May 4, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 18, 1927, in Gallion to W.L. Ford and Mary Jones Ford, she was one of ten siblings. As the oldest member of Providence Baptist Church, she was special to her community. Susie was a great cook who loved feeding others. Caring for her chickens brought her great joy. Above all, she adored her family, especially her grandsons. A loving and God-fearing mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, William “George” Webb and wife Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Mary Webb; grandsons, Jim Webb and Josh Webb; special friends, Betty McNeil, Eartha McNeil, and Oradean Kellum; special feline friend, Fred; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Burlon Webb; parents, W.L. Ford and Mary Jones Ford; son, James Webb; and nine siblings.
