• The Marengo County School Board will hold a special-called board meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The meeting will begin promptly at 4:00 PM in the boardroom on the 2nd floor of the Marengo County Office Building. Wednesday, May 14

• Linden City Schools Board of Education will hold a meeting in the conference room located on the ground floor of the Central Office. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm.

• Demopolis High School graduation at Tiger Stadium. Congratulations seniors!

Saturday, May 17

• Black Belt Community Associates will have its Commissioners Recognition Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marengo County Economic Development Center, located at 2400 E. Coats Ave. – Hwy 28 in Linden. The fundraising event features indoor vendor tables. No cooking will be allowed on the premises. Vendor deadline to reserve table space is May 3.
