Archie Wayne Hendley age 78 was born January 23, 1947 in Choctaw County, AL to Calvin and Myrtle Hendley.  He passed away peacefully at his home in Sweet Water, AL on May 5, 2025.  He was a retired safety nurse at Georgia Pacific and a member of Campground Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Erica Morgan Hendley of Sweet Water, AL; son, Eric Montana (Ozge Demiran) Hendley of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Jim (Delma) Hendley of TN and Henry (Dorothy) Hendley of Butler, AL; mother-in-law, Dolly Morgan of Sweet Water, AL; brother-in-law, Eric (Rajaa) Morgan of Owens Cross Roads, AL; sister-in-law, Jill Morgan (Shawn-deceased) of Orange Beach, AL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, May 12, 2025 at Campground Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am with Ty Morgan officiating.
