Benny Ross Fitzhugh age 84 of Gallion, AL died May 9, 2025 at his home. He was born March 30, 1941 in Gallion, AL to Olie Neal and Ruth L. Fitzhugh. He was a retired paper mill worker and a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Rose Noland Fitzhugh; three sons, Wendall “Bubba” Ross Fitzhugh (Teresa), Russell Clark Fitzhugh (Laura), and Dennis Dewayne Fitzhugh (Misti); sister, Ann Whitcomb; six grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were at Demopolis Memorial Gardens held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm. with Paul Whitcomb officiating.
