• Chamber’s Business After Hours and Grand Opening Celebration of The Flats. Hosted at Strother Design, 210 N Walnut Ave. 6-8 pm. Enjoy light refreshments, take a tour of the newly opened short-term rental apartments, and explore the creative space at Strother Design.
• The Marengo County School Board will hold its regular board meeting on Thursday, May 22. The meeting will begin promptly at 4:00 PM in the boardroom on the 2nd floor of the Marengo County Office Building, 101 North Shiloh Street, Linden.

• The Shelton State Community College (SSCC) cosmetology salon will honor cancer survivors during Cutting Out Cancer: Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day on Tuesday, June 3, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary for complimentary haircuts, manicures, and pedicures.
