• Town Hall Meeting 5:30 PM at Marengo County Economic Development Authority – 2400 E. Coats Ave., Linden. The meeting is intended to inform the community about the impact of federal cuts and tariffs on Marengo County.

 

Monday, June 2

• Coleman Arts Summer Program (CASP) is a two week interactive arts education program for youth ages 5 – 17 in Sumter County. It runs from June 2 – 13, Monday – Friday from 10AM – 3PM at the Coleman Center for the Arts Pop Start Community Space (211 Broad St., York, AL 36925). Registration is $40 and includes lunch. • The Shelton State Community College (SSCC) cosmetology salon will honor cancer survivors during Cutting Out Cancer: Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day on Tuesday, June 3, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary for complimentary haircuts, manicures, and pedicures.
