Demopolis in Bloom set for March 30
The 2017 Demopolis in Bloom Symposium and Educational Classes will be held March 30 at the Demopolis Civic Center.
The event will include informative speakers as well as vendor booths.
From 9 to 10 a.m., Teresa Johnson, owner of Johnson’s Garden and Cafe in Duncanville, Alabama will speak on “Southern Living Shrubs” and the plants that grow in the area.
From 10 to 10:30 a.m., Mike Randall of BWI, a regional turf wholesale supplier with 58 years experience in the field, will speak on the importance of turf management for homeowners.
From 10:30 to 11 a.m., Jane Watson of Demopolis will speak and demonstrate “How to Establish a Cut Flower Garden,” and feature flowers from the area.
Guests will be able to visit with an assortment of vendors and will have opportunities to win door prizes.
