Funeral services celebrating the life of Marcus Monaghan of Demopolis will be held Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Honoree Lockett is the pastor. The Rev. Mitchell Congress will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will lie in state on Saturday beginning at noon. Public viewing will be held Friday from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis entrusted with arrangements.
