David Michael Barrineau, 35, of Birmingham, died Sept. 7 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

He was born April 12, 1978, in Meridian, Miss. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Barrineau of Birmingham; daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Barrineau of Birmingham; father, Kenneth Ray Barrineau of Linden; mother, Joyce Wingate Barrineau of Linden; brother, Kenneth Derrick Barrineau of Linden; sister, Dana Barrineau (Heath) Crowe of Salem; and grandmother, Georgia Barrineau of Linden.

Funeral services were held at Linden Baptist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. with Dr. Randy Creel officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were Robson Bassett, Nick Burlison, Shandon Gunter, Keith Henry, Ryan Hoilman, Charles Poole, Matthew Traylor and Tim Robic.

Honorary pallbearers were the Marengo Academy class of 1996, John Payne Thomas and Larry Henry.
