Demopolis Police incident reports for the period ending Jan. 30

The following are the incident reports for the Demopolis Police Department for the period ending Jan. 30:

On Thursday, Jan. 23, police responded to a report of theft from yards at Williams Street. Farm equipment was stolen.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, police responded to a report of harassing communications at West Jackson Street.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, police responded to a report of harassment-simple assault at Lower Pool Road.

On Friday, Jan. 24, police responded to a report of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle at Hackberry Lane. A purple Vera Bradley wallet, a Collins Communications credit card, a debit card, a driver’s license and a pistol permit were stolen.

On Friday, Jan. 24, police responded to a report of shoplifting at Ace Beauty Supply. Chapstick and makeup were stolen.

On Saturday, Jan. 25, police responded to a report of burglary of a non-residence with force at Highway 80 West. Fishing rods/reels, pool sticks, a weed eater and a push lawn mower were stolen.

On Saturday, Jan. 25, police responded to a report of burglary of a residence with force at West Prout Street. A TV, a Remington 700 model .360 rifle, a New England .270 rifle, a Kindle tablet and a box of .270 shells were stolen.

On Saturday, Jan. 25, police responded to a report of third-degree domestic violence/assault at Crossgates Apartments.

On Saturday, Jan. 25, police responded to a report of third-degree theft of property at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

On Sunday, Jan. 26, police responded to a report of harassment-simple assault at Pettus Street.

On Sunday, Jan. 26, police responded to a report of third-degree domestic violence at Edgemont Circle.

On Monday, Jan. 27, police responded to a report of theft of firearms at Bell Grayson Road. A Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun was stolen.

On Monday, Jan. 27, police responded to a report of issuing false financial statement at East Washington Street.

On Monday, Jan. 27, police responded to a report of harassing communications at Marvin’s.

On Thursday, Jan. 30, police responded to a report of third-degree domestic violence/third-degree criminal mischief at the Demopolis Villas. A front door was damaged.
