Doris Mitchell Farris, 87, of Linden, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Dec. 14, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Linden with the Rev. Robert Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Thursday, Dec. 18, at the funeral home chapel from 1-5 p.m. The remains will repose at the church one hour prior to funeral services.
