Louise Pruitt Noland McClure, 73, of Gallion passed away on April 23, 2016 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. McClure was born Nov. 2, 1942 in Washington County, Mississippi to the late Jesse Polk and Tressie Mary Janie Tangle Pruitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Murphy Lee Noland Jr.; brothers, Edward and Dillard Pruitt; and sisters, Leslie P. Galabiz, Helen Pruitt, and Virginia “Sis” P. Kackley.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth McClure; children, Bobby Noland (Terri) of Brookwood, Alabama, Pam Wilkinson (Curtis) of Providence, Alabama, Leigh Noland (Theresa) of St. Louis, Missouri, Bobby McClure (Brandy) of Semmes, Alabama, Terry McClure, Eric McClure, Layla McClure all of Flomaton, Alabama; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Vickers (George) of Pearl, Mississippi, Evelyn Roberts (Glenn) of Jackson, Mississippi, and Barbara King of Pearl, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26, 2 p.m., at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel. The family received friends from 1 until 1:50 p.m. Burial followed at Springhill Cemetery. Dr. Billy Harris officiated and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directed.
Active pallbearers were Izz Noland, Kyle Phillipson, Jonathan Sommers, Jonathan Owens, Bill Noland, Anthony King, and Marty Snider.
Honorary pallbearers were the staffs of the following medical facilities: Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home, Southern Care Hospice, and Dr. Chu’s Clinic, the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis, Mick Hinson, Frank Boozer, and Pam Knight.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made in Mrs. McClure’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
