Pete Gray Agee

Pete Gray Agee, 85, of Demopolis, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at his residence.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at the Kidd-Robbins Chapel with Rev. Don Smith officiating.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to services.

Burial will be held at Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

Mr. Agee was a native of Clarke County and a long time resident of Demopolis. He was a retired auto shop owner and a veteran tech sergeant in World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Demopolis.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dean Compton.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Agee of Demopolis; a son, James G. Agee of Daphne, Ala.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike McAlpine, Rusty Nichols, Kelly Etheridge, Harold Agee, Eldred Agee and Trenton Agee.
