A key injury to Andy Lowe and a lack of depth stopped the Demopolis Academy Generals football team from holding a 20-7 third quarter lead.

If heart and determination was all that was needed the Generals would have won, but the Coosa Valley Rebels were able to come back in the second half for a 27-20 final score.

Coming off a tough season opening loss to Marengo Academy, DA regrouped and came out Friday in Harpersville, Alabama with a purpose.

in the third quarter and was taken away for X-rays.
