Carolyn F. Kelley, 77, of Demopolis, died Monday, September 16, 2002, at the Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home.
Services were held Thursday, September 19, 2002, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Rex Kent officiating.
Burial was held in Demopolis Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.
She was a native of Meader, Georgia and a long time resident of Demopolis, where she was very active in the First Baptist Church and choir. She was also a member of D.A.R., the Pilot Club and the Canebrake Players.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Edward P. Fendley.
Ms. Kelley is survived by two sons, Robert A. (Robin) Clifton III of Demopolis and Shawn Patrick Kelley of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Edward P. Fendley Jr. of Demopolis; two grandchildren, Christopher Kelley and Branson Kelley; four nieces; two nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were members of the Andrews Sunday School Class, Tommy Pierson, Dixie Mayton, Charles Stroud, Billy Copeland, Red Chiles, Gerald Poellnitz, James Nelson, Chester Pugh, Jack Marler, Bob Collins and Hugh Jackson.
