Johnny Franklin Ford, 55, of Gallion, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at his residence.

Graveside services were held Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Richard Scott officiating and under the direction of Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler.

Mr. Ford was born March 23, 1948. He was a cannon-shine-painter.

He is survived by two brothers, Buddy Ford of Gallion and Marvin (Brenda) Ford of Demopolis; four sisters, Pat (Clyde) Dxon of Gallion, june Beverly of Linden, Wanda Ford of Eutaw and Judy Foxhall of Cherokee, Ala.; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Douglas Duren, Chris Beverly, Michael Ford, Wayne Scott, Justin Ford, D.J. Deerman, Shawn Dixon, David Deerman and David Wyatt.
