Big Bee thief admits guilt

Jacqueline Tate pled guilty Tuesday in Marengo County Circuit Court to the robbery of the Big B Arcade in Linden.

Eddie Hardaway jr. was the presiding judge.

Tate pled to robbery, first degree. She was sentenced to 15 years, split to two years. She must pay restitution.

She was allowed two weeks by the court to get her personal affairs in order before turning herself in for incarceration.

Following are other guilty pleas entered Tuesday in Circuit Court:

Latonya Denise Barnes pled guilty to receiving stolen property, second degree. She was sentenced to two years, suspended to two years supervised probation. She must pay restitution.

Joseph L. Brame pled guilty to felony DUI. He was sentenced to two years, suspended to 120 days in the county jail. He will then be placed on two years probation. He must pay a $4,100 fine and court costs.

Terrence Bruno pled guilty to unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, resisting arrest and receiving stolen property, second degree. There will be a pre-sentencing investigation. Bruno must pay restitution.

Frank Bryant pled guilty to unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail, suspended to two years supervised probation. He must pay $1,800 in restitution.

Marquis Butler pled guilty to possession of a forged instrument II. The crime was committed during work release while he was serving 15 years. He was also sentenced to 15 years for this crime, to run concurrent with the other sentence. Two other cases against him for the same crime were dismissed although restitution must be paid.

Yancy Dumas pled guilty to unlawful distribution of contraband. He was sentenced to 10 years, split to two years. E must pay a $3,000 fine.

Bryan Finch pled guilty to robbery, third degree. He was sentenced to four years to run concurrent with a Greene County case. He will get credit for time served. He must pay restitution to Mr. Roys and Cougar Oil.

Mark J. Giacone pled guilty to theft of property, first degree. He was sentenced to two years, suspended to two years supervised probation. He must pay restitution.

Greg Hildreth pled guilty to assault, third degree. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail, suspended to one year supervised probation. A restitution hearing will be held.

Angelo D. Holifield pled guilty to receiving stolen property, first degree. He was sentenced to two years, suspended to two years supervised probation. He must pay restitution and court costs.

K.D. Hoven pled guilty to driving while license revoked. He must pay a $55 fine, $50 penalty and court costs.

Richard Jackson pled guilty to unlawful possession of marijuana, first degree. He was sentenced to two years, suspended to two years supervised probation. He must pay a $1,000 fine and court costs.

Frederick Law pled guilty to forgery, third degree. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail, suspended to one year supervised probation. He must pay restitution and court costs.

William K. Lewis pled guilty to felony DUI. He asked for a pre-sentencing hearing.

Raymond Williams pled guilty to assault, third degree. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail, suspended to one year supervised probation. There will be a restitution hearing, and he must pay court costs.

Tommy Williams pled guilty to theft of property, third degree. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail, suspended to one year unsupervised probation. He must pay court costs.
