After dropping a 2-1 decision to powerhouse Bibb County (16-0) on Wednesday, the 12-8 Demopolis Lady Tigers responded with a 6-0 victory over the Jackson High Lady Aggies Thursday in Demopolis.

After leaving five runners stranded in the first two innings of play the Lady Tigers finally found their hitting groove in the third to take a 5-0 lead. Another outstanding pitching performance form senior Lauren Roark kept the Aggies scoreless through seven innings, while the lady tigers would go on to add an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth.

Roark came within just one hit of earning her second no hitter of the week as she went seven innings earning 7K’s, while giving up one hit and one walk.
