But in order to get to 16, the Lady Tigers will have out hit a Trinity team that collected 19 runs on 30 hits in their two game sweep of Beauregard last week. But the Wildcats might find if particularly more difficult to collect those kinds of numbers against Demopolis pitchers Kelly Keasler and Lauren Roark.

Keasler (15-3) has an ERA of 0.62, while giving up 12 earned runs on 47 hits this season. She has repeatedly sent batters back into the dugout throughout the season. Keasler has enough speed to be highly dangerous, but it is her off speed changeup that leaves batters swinging in the wind.

Roark has an ERA of 1.04 this season giving up 18 earned runs on 46 hits. She has great control, a dominating presence and Division I talent all the way around. The Wildcats have no idea what they are in for today.

This Tigers team has really come alive in the last two weeks and if they want, they can beat anyone. As a team the Lady Tigers have a .223 batting average with 157 runs on 193 hits and 103 RBIs. And when there is a title on the line, the Tigers play even harder, as they have won three tournaments this year alone.

If the Lady Tigers continue to play like they have throughout this winning streak, which is the longest in school history, then the heat might just be the hardest opponent they’ll face this weekend.
