Dear Editor:

Relay for Life was a success!!!

Thank everyone at Suttles Truck Leasing&Southern Tank Leasing for your hard work and dedication. Together we raised about $1,500.00. I especially want to thank the people and businesses in the community who donated items for our fund raisers. Thanks to Food World, The Encore, Reynolds Vending, Frito Lay, and Foster Farms. Our employees were so generous with their money and time. It was alot of hard work but such a great experience.

I encourage anyone who has not participated in the Relay for Life to do so next year. It is such a wonderful cause and we are so fortunate to have a town that gets involved in these events.

We have a very special employee, Melvin Yelverton, that could not be with us that night because he was having surgery for a type of stomach cancer. HE IS A SURVIVOR! We are so thankful for him and wish him a speedy recovery.

Thank you Mr. Suttles and Boyd Duckett for your financial contributions and letting us do things on “company time” to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Again, I want to thank everyone who helped with this and encourage other businesses to get involved.
