Mrs. Betty Scott Allen announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter Miss Shannon Christina Scott to Mr. Eric Derrell Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wright of Coatopa.

The couple will be married May 29 at the Evening Star Baptist Church in Gallion with the Rev. Floyd James officiating. A reception will follow at the Copelin Center in Demopolis. Family and friends are invited.
