Theo Ratliff Basketball Camp

The second annual Theo Ratliff Basketball Camp will be held Tuesday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 9 at the DHS Gym. Registration will begin at 8 am each morning, with instructions to begin at 9 am and end at 3 pm. Lunch will be provided each day to the participants. Release forms can be picked up at Omni Sports, The Athlete’s Foot or the Parks and Recreation Office. Please bring the form to the gym the first day of camp. This camp is open to all boys and girls ages 8 to 18. Joining Theo will be Alabama great Marcus Campbell and Duke standout Antonio Lang. For more information call 289-4242.

A.C. Green Basketball Camp

Los Angeles great A.C. Green will conduct the first A.C. Green Basketball Camp June 25&26 at the DHS Gym and U.S. Jones Middle School Gym. This camp is also open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18. Registration begins at 8 am each day with instructions to begin at 9 am. Registration is only $5 per child. Forms can be picked up at Very Unique Fashions in Downtown Demopolis. All participants will receive a T-shirt and lunch. For more information call 287-0909.

The Sports-Plex will host the Dixie Youth Double A (7&8 year olds) Sub-District Tournament Friday and Saturday, June 18&19. Games will be played on New Era and Field 6. Other details were not available to include in this issue.

Dixie Boys (13-14 year olds) are also scheduled to play their Sub-District tournament her Friday, June 25 through Monday June 28.
