13-year old All-Stars

SELMA- The Demopolis 13-year old All-Stars began their double-elimination District Tournament this week and are currently one of only three teams remaining.

After taking a 12-3 loss to Clarke County Saturday, Demopolis was able to eliminate Chiltauga Monday night with a 13-3 win.

Justin Guy would pick up the win for Demopolis going five innings collecting 9K’s, while giving up five hits and six walks. Clayton Crocker would lead the way for Demopolis at the plate going 3-for-3.

Demopolis (1-1) played undefeated Selma in a

late game Tuesday night. No score was available at press time.

14-year old All-Stars

SELMA – The Demopolis 14-year old All-Stars find themselves one of three teams remaining in their District Tournament in Selma.

Demopolis picked up a 4-2 win over North Clarke on Friday night, and was able to follow it up with a 15-5 win over North Chilton on Saturday.

But a 8-6 loss to Selma on Monday would leave Demopolis with a 2-1 record. Demopolis will likely play (2-0) Selma tonight.
