Mr. Willie Collins, age 72 of Faunsdale, Alabama died Sunday, July 11, 2004 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church, Faunsdale, Alabama.

Rev. W. J. Morton will officiate.

Mrs. Binkie Partridge, age 98 of Demopolis, Alabama died July 2, 2004 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Small Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, Jefferson, Alabama.

Rev. James Christian Eulogist.

Interment followed in Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama.

Mrs. Sylvia Croxton-Scott, age 73 of Forkland, Alabama died Saturday, July 3, 2004 at her residence.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Forkland, Alabama.

Mr. Clifton Townsell, age 68 of Coatopa, Alabama died July 6, 2004 at his residence.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama.

Mrs. Annie Wright-Martin, age 69 of New Orleans, LA, a former native of Demopolis, Alabama died July 2, 2004 at Colonial Healthcare, Greensboro, Alabama.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Linden, Alabama.

Dotson Wayne Montz, age 66 of Greensboro died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Hale County Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 2:00P.M. at the Waycross Bible Methodist Church with interment following in the Oakhill Cemetery in Moundville. The Rev. J.T. Terry, the Rev Brian Consley, and the Rev. Raymong Stricklin officiated with Kirk Funeral Homes directing.

Mr. Montz is survived by his wife, Judy F. Montz, Greensboro; a son Ricky (Valerie) Montz, Hampton, Ga.; a daughter Charlene (John) Standridge, Greensboro; Grandchildren Bradley Montz, Austin Montz, and Kayla Montz of Hampton, GA as well as Sydney Standridge of Greensboro; mother, Murvelle Montz, Greensboro; brothers Lenson (Ann) Montz and Dathan (Freda) Montz, Greensboro;sisters, Wrenthy (Jimmy) Webb, Gluk Breeze, Fla. And Jessie Dean Williams, Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his son Steve Montz and daughter Lisa Montz and Father JT Montz.Pallbearers were Curtis Lyles, Jerry Averette, Searcy Averette, H.P. Creel, Barry Smith, Fineas Montz, Jay Clark, and Todd Fields.

The family would like to express a very special thanks to the honorary pall bearers which include: Dr. Ross Vaughn, Dr. George Miller, Doctors and employees of Hale County Hospital and Hale County Hospital Home Health. Special thanks to the Mt. Herman Community for your prayers and support. A very special thanks to all of the sitters and caregivers, who helped us through out the years. We love you all.

Dotson Wayne Montz was born in Hale County on March 7, 1938.

Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Price Ryan,

age 79 of Greensboro died Saturday, July 3, 2004 in DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 11:00A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. The Rev. Steve Smith officiated with Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directed. She is preceded in death by her son John William Ryan, who was the father of her three grandsons and her mother Willie Mae Walker. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Ludie Clarence Ryan, Greensboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Neeland Kirk (Linda Ryan) of Marion, a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Clarence Ryan, Guntersville; Granddaughter, Lea Elizabeth Kirk, Marion; 3 grandsons John William Ryan, Jr. Tuscaloosa, James Mitchell Ryan, Birmingham, and Joshua Dean Ryan of Malstrom AFB, Great Falls, Montana; Daughter-in-law Mrs. Charles Thomas (Regina Gray) of Greensboro; Sisters-in-law Lois Evelyn Ryan Barnette of Marion; Hazel Ryan Dunn of Birmingham; Minnie Opal Ryan Payne and her husband Robert Glenn Payne of Moundville, and Lucille Ryan Jones of Montgomery, Cousins, 5 nieces, 9 Nephews, a number of great nieces ans great nephews and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.
