Mrs. Annabelle Wallace Zimmerman, 83, of Monroe, LA. died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born May 2, 1921 to the union of Sheriff Clarence Wallace and Allie Malone Wallace of Asotin, WA.

She operated the Wallace-Frazer Title Co. from 1945 to 1957 in Clarkston, WA.

Mrs. Zimmerman and her husband William moved to Demopolis, AL., in 1957, and moved to Timberlane Dr. in Monroe, LA. in 1978.

Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by her husband William P. Zimmerman of Monroe, LA., son Merle Charles Zimmerman, two grandchildren,

Julie Marie Zimmerman and Andrew R. Zimmerman all of Northbough, MA., two sisters Bobbie Wallace Brown of Pomeroy, WA. and Allene Wallace St. Marie of Lewiston, ID. and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services and interment will take place at a later date at Clarkston Vineland Cemetery in Clarkston WA.

Newton “Newt” Mabrey Marler, Jr., 88, Picayune, MS, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at Meadowcrest Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 1:30 PM at the Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, LA. Mr. Marler is a USN officer retired. He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Barkei Marler; a daughter, Margaret Marler (John A.) Dubret; three grandchildren, Joseph Mabrey (Athena) Dubret, Catherine Dubret (Stephen) Strickland, Rebecca Dubret, Michelle Dubret, and Elizabeth Dubret; great-grandson, Stephen Strickland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Mabrey Marler and two brothers Robert L. Marler and Florence Nixon. He was a native of Stansel, AL, raised in Demopolis, AL,

and a resident of Algiers, LA since 1953. In Leiu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Covenant House 611 N. Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 or the charity of your choice, preferred.
